National Resource Center on Women and Retirement - Partner Network

Through its partner network, the National Resource Center on Women & Retirement Planning  reaches women around the country with workshops, trainings and educational outreach. The Center is formally partnered with the following organizations:

  • American Association of Service Coordinators – advances the interests of the service coordinator profession and provides guidance and professional standards to its members.
  • American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) – advocates in federal, state, and international forums for public policy that supports the industry marketplace and the 75 million American families that rely on life insurers’ products for financial and retirement security.
  • Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) – provides a unified voice and representation for its member agencies and the constituents that they serve – primarily low-income families, children, and the elderly. Since 1971, COAD has worked to improve the quality of life for all residents of Appalachian Ohio.
  • Elder Justice Coalition – seeks to increase public awareness of the tragedy of elder abuse, neglect and exploitation, increase awareness, support, and funding for the Elder Justice Act, and monitor and appropriately influence other relevant legislation and regulations that pertain to the prevention of elder abuse.
  • Financial Services Roundtable – aims to be the premier executive forum for the leaders of the financial services industry, to provide powerful legislative and regulatory advocacy, to enhance the industry’s public reputation, and to lead by BITS in order to promote best practices and strong infrastructure in technology.
  • International Association for Indigenous Aging (IA2) – focus is on Aging Policy and Indian Elders.
  • MANA, A National Latina Organization – a national community of Latinas actively working to create a better quality of life for Hispanics. This organization works to empower Latinas through leadership development, community service, and advocacy.
  • Mother’s Voices Georgia, Inc. – part of a national grassroots organization that believes in the power of mobilizing mothers to become advocates for HIV/STD prevention, treatment, testing and counseling as well as champions for building life-skills that help women make informed, healthy choices about their bodies, finances and health care.
  • National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) – is a non-profit association that represents lawyers, bar organizations and others who work with older clients and their families. The Academy provides a resource of education, information, networking and assistance to those who deal with the many specialized issues involved with legal services for seniors and people with special needs.
  • National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) – provides Adult Protective Services (APS) programs a forum for sharing information, solving problems, and improving the quality of services for victims of elder and vulnerable adult mistreatment.
  • National Alliance for Caregivers (NAC) – a non-profit coalition of national organizations focusing on issues of family caregiving. Alliance members include grassroots organizations, professional associations, service organizations, disease-specific organizations, a government agency, and corporations. 
  • National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) – is the leading voice on aging issues for Area Agencies on Aging and a champion for Title VI Native American aging programs. Through advocacy, training and technical assistance, we support the national network of 629 AAAs and 246 Title VI programs.
  • National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) – is a national membership organization for persons across the country working to provide older adults healthful food and nutrition through community-based services.
  • National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities (NASUAD) – works to design, improve, and sustain state systems delivering home and community based services and supports for people who are older or have a disability, as well as their caregivers.
  • National Caucus and Center on Black Aging (NCBA) – is one of the largest minority focused organizations in the country and is recognized as the national leader in housing, employment, health and advocacy on behalf of minority aged.
  • National Council on Aging (NCOA) – is a national voice for older adults—especially those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged—and the community organizations that serve them. They bring together nonprofit organizations, businesses, and government to develop creative solutions that improve the lives of all older adults.
  • Retirement Clearinghouse – is America’s only independent, fully-integrated provider of retirement savings portability solutions for America’s mobile workforce. Retirement Clearinghouse works with more than 18,000 retirement plans and has helped guide more than 1 million participants with over $15.8 billion in retirement savings.
  • SIFMA – is the voice of the U.S. securities industry and represents the broker-dealers, banks and asset managers whose nearly 1 million employees provide access to the capital markets. It advocates for effective and resilient capital markets.
  • The Actuarial Foundation – works to enhance math education through the talent and resources of actuaries and helps facilitate and broaden the profession’s contribution to society. The Foundation explores innovative ways to apply actuarial skills in the public interest.
  • The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care – is the leading national voice representing consumers in issues related to long-term care, helping to ensure that consumers are empowered to advocate for themselves.
  • Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project – is one of six regional pension counseling projects funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging to provide free legal counseling services to individuals in the five state region of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
  • West Virginia Alliance for Sustainable Families – initiates action in the areas of research, education, advocacy, and coalition building to ensure that West Virginia’s citizens, communities and organizations successfully implement welfare reform.
