Office of Communications and Knowledge Transfer: Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality

Gives information about aging to the scientific community, health care providers and the public. The site has research, events, and publications.

Department of Health and Human Services: Office of Minority Health
Seeks to improve and protect the health of racial and ethnic minorities through the development of health policies and programs to eliminate health disparities. It also has resources about minority populations.

Health Resources and Services Administration
Works to increase access to healthcare for medically underserved populations. They have programs to increase access and quality of healthcare, and safeguard the well-being of vulnerable populations.

HRSA Bureau of Primary Health Care: The Health Center Program
Provides healthcare to underserved communities and vulnerable populations. You can find health centers in your community on the site, as well as their homeless program, public housing primary care centers, and programs for Native Hawaiians.

National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities
Promotes minority health and works to eliminate health disparities between majorities and minorities. It conducts and supports clinical, social, and behavioral research, and reaches out to minority communities.

National Hispanic Council on Aging
Works to improve the quality of life for Hispanic/Latino elderly, and their families and communities. They focus on health promotion, financial security, civic engagement, education, and housing.

Center for Rural Health: National Resource Center on Native American Aging
Works to increase awareness of evolving Native elder health and social services. Their website has a newsletter, services locator, and information about long-term care planning.

Indian Health Service
Provides health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. Publications and facility locators are available on the website.

UNC Institute on Aging: Center for Aging and Diversity
Addresses health disparities of minority populations through research and training. Topics of study include dementia caregiving, family caregiving, and health disparities.

Hearing Loss Association
Provides assistance and resources for those who are hearing impaired and their families to learn how to adjust to living with hearing loss.
